Monkfish Meat (500g)
Monkfish Meat is skinless and boneless Monk Fish fillets of various sizes ideal for curries, stew or pies. Taken from only the finest monk in Cornwall.
This firm meat cut expertly from the monkfish is a real favourite of chefs.
Our expert filleters have cut it into fillets so there is no need for any further preparation.
500g is normally enough for 4 portions. We cannot guarentee the physical number of fillets as this all depends on the size of the fish landed - however, the weight of your pack will be at least 500g.
Please note that this product will be dispatched frozen, and will start to defrost in transit. This means it will be unsuitable for home freezing. However, If we have the monkfish in from the markets that day we will, if possible, send fresh.

Fresh fish is best eaten straight away, or within 3 days.
In some cases, this product may be dispatched frozen and begin to defrost in transit. Therefore might not be suitable for home freezing.
Store in your refrigerator and pack with ice if possible.
To freeze; place the fish straight in the freezer upon delivery and aim to consume within 3 months.
TIP: Write the date on the packaging before freezing.
Do not re-freeze your fish after defrosting.
