Cornish Seafood selection - 20 portion
20 portions of the best of the landings from the morning's market - perfect for a special gathering or stocking up.
Our 20 portion Cornish Seafood Selection includes fresh fish fillets and shellfish, hand-picked by our Fishmongers from the best of the landings at the morning markets.
The variety you receive will be dictated by what has been landed by local fishing boats, its quality and abundance.
For your convenience, all the seafood will arrive fully prepared ready for you to eat. Ideally we would hope to include: 16 cleaned king scallops (4 portions), 1kg mussels (2 portions), oily fish fillets & white fish fillets (160/180gm portions), flat fish fillets (150/170gm portions)and skinned ray wings (200/220gm portions).
Please note, contents may vary from those displayed. This box will have wild Cornish fish and may include local, sustainably farmed Rainbow Trout from North Cornwall.
Please note the image shown is for display purposes only. The contents of this box will vary, subject to seasonality and availability. We are unable to exclude species upon request.
Please note that due to market conditions, sometimes dictated by the weather on rare occasions we may have to send you frozen seafood, which could arrive partially-defrosted.
On very rare occasions due to weather, spawning and market conditions we may have to source Mussels from high-quality suppliers outside of Cornwall.
Fresh fish is best eaten straight away, or within 3 days.
In some cases, this product may be dispatched frozen and begin to defrost in transit. Therefore might not be suitable for home freezing.
Store in your refrigerator and pack with ice if possible.
To freeze; place the fish straight in the freezer upon delivery and aim to consume within 3 months.
Remember that oily fish does not freeze as well as white fish - so be sure to consume within 2 months.
Shellfish does not freeze well, so store in the salad drawer of your refrigerator and cover with a damp tea towel.
Do not immerse shellfish in water.
TIP: Write the date on the packaging before freezing. Do not re-freeze your fish after defrosting.
