Early in the morning the previous night's landing of crabs are cooked, ready to be hand picked in the same traditional way the Cornish have prepared fresh dressed crab for centuries. Hand picked daily, our fresh, juicy white crab meat is sealed in trays then pasteurized to retain its exquisite flavour and give it a longer shelf life when kept in the fridge.
The Omega3 fatty acids found in shellfish such as crab have been found to help lower blood pressure, and minerals such as zinc, selenium and copper help to boost the immune system. Our crab will have a minimum 6 day shelf life. All effort is made to ensure that crab meat has no shell or cartilage but please check through again before use.
