Mackerel is incredible when smoked due to its high fat content – the fat in the mackerel naturally retains all of the gorgeous complex smoky flavours that our oak chips impart.
Hand smoked over oak in our own kilns to a home cure, each of our smoked mackerel fillets are individually checked by hand for quality before being packaged.
It’s such a treat for a picnic, or flaked into green salads, and it’s good for you too due to all those hearty omega 3 fatty acids.
