LandedOur cockles are harvested from the waters off the south coast in sandy beach areas & shallow water. These tasty shellfish are landed in small quantities, purified and packaged ready to enjoy. All molluscs are 'open purified' to ensure they are full of flavour and safe to eat.
- Storage & Preparation
Storage & PreparationStore live shellfish in the salad drawer of your refridgerator and cover with a damp teatowel. Do not immerse shellfish in water. Discard any molluscs that do not open when tapped and rince under a running tap before cooking to make sure there is no grit in them. Live shellfish has a limited shelf life - consume as soon as possible from the date of delivery. Do not keep for longer than 3 days.
