Sweet, sticky and spicy, homemade at Wild Cornwall. Perfect for dipping, stir fries, marinating and more!
Our punchy Rambler’s Sweet Chilli Sauce celebrates our favourite floral superstar, Calendula! At the farm Wild Cornwall cultivate this lovely little flower for its beneficial carotenoids and flavonoids. The flower provides an earthy flavour that balances and adds depth to this beautifully coloured sweet chilli sauce.
The wild element to this sauce is Arsesmart, or otherwise known as Water Pepper. This can be found down by riverbanks, estuaries, stream edges, damp ditches and even fields which are prone to flooding. There are quite a few plants that look similar to Arsesmart; however, it only takes one bite to know if you’ve got the right plant. The leaves are hot and peppery.
Produced by Wild Cornwall, in their herb fields they have basil, lavender, rosemary, sage and many more growing for their products and for product development. In the summer it is a lovely sight, and the scents range from row to row of crop.
