Behold the perfect recipe for Halloween parties, orange and black seafood rice balls!
Ingredients
- Seafood ingredients:
250g long sliced smoked salmon
1 pack of roasted seaweed sheets - Other ingredients:
- Sushi rice / plain rice
- Water
- Salt, sugar and vinegar
- Mayonnaise
- Small sandwich bag
- Cling film (cut into squares)
Instructions
- Cook and drain the rice. Mix with the salt, sugar and vinegar according to your taste when it is cold. Click here to see how to cook sushi rice.
- Spread a couple of square sheets of cling film on a flat surface.
- To make the evil pumpkin rice ball, put a slice of smoked salmon the middle of the cling film. Topped it with a spoonful of sushi rice. Wrap up the cling film and shape into a ball. Remove the cling film. Cut the seaweed into shapes of eyes and mouth for decoration.
- To make the black cobweb rice ball, repeat the previous step by substituting the smoked salmon with a sheet of seaweed. For decoration, put a spoonful of mayonnaise in a sandwich bag, cut a small hole at the corner. Squeeze while drawing the cobwebs on top of the rice balls.
