King Prawn Lettuce Wraps

A fun to eat and easy to make tasty king prawn recipe.

  1. Marinate the raw peeled king prawns in the white wine for 10 minutes.
  2. Cook the rice in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain, dress with the sesame oil and place to one side.
  3. Pour the sesame seeds onto a plate. Next, roll the prawns in the seeds to create their crispy coating. Melt the butter in a pan, add the coated king prawns and fry until pink.
  4. Wash and dry the lettuce leaves, add a small pile of rice noodles, then the king prawns on top. Sprinkle with chilli and some more sesame seeds and wrap!

  • 500g raw peeled king prawns
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 red chilli (sliced)
  • 2 tablespoon white wine
  • 2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 6-8 large lettuce leaves
  • Small bunch of rice noodles (optional)
