Ingredients
- 300g sliced smoked salmon
- 150g cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons natural yoghurt
- 1–2 tablespoons fresh chives, finely chopped
- ½ cucumber, thinly sliced lengthways
Method
- In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese, natural yoghurt, and chopped chives. Mix until smooth and evenly combined.
- Place a sheet of greaseproof paper on your work surface. Lay the long slices of smoked salmon slightly overlapping to form a rectangle.
- Evenly spread the cream cheese mixture over the smoked salmon, leaving a small border around the edges. Arrange a thin layer of cucumber slices over the top.
- Starting from one long edge, carefully lift the greaseproof paper and gently roll the salmon into a tight roulade. (Alternatively, you can fold it in half for a simpler presentation.)
- Wrap the roulade tightly in cling film and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or as long as possible, to firm up.
-
Remove from the fridge, unwrap, and slice into 1cm rounds. Serve chilled.
