Early in the morning the previous night's landing of crabs are cooked, ready to be hand picked in the same traditional way the Cornish have prepared fresh dressed crab for centuries.

Hand picked daily, our fresh, juicy white crab meat is sealed in trays then pasteurized to retain its exquisite flavour and give it a longer shelf life when kept in the fridge.

The Omega3 fatty acids found in shellfish such as crab have been found to help lower blood pressure, and minerals such as zinc, selenium and copper help to boost the immune system.

All efforts are made to ensure that crab meat has no shell or cartilage but please check through again before use.

We are at the mercy of the weather and landings - therefore if no fresh crab is available we may have to send a frozen pack of meat, which will start to defrost in transit and may not be suitable for home freezing.

On very rare occasions, if there is no Cornish Crab available for picking we may have to supply Crab Meat from other reputable suppliers outside of Cornwall.
