Our Cornish Mussels have been slow-smoked to our own home-cure recipe over oak woodchips. All our smoking takes place in-house, in small batches.
Winning both Great Taste and Taste of the West awards, our smoked mussels boast the most lovely texture and flavour.
They’re versatile too: you can add them to a smoked salmon risotto for an extra oomph, mix them into a smokey fish pie mix, or just simply serve them on toasted sourdough with garlic butter.
We have a long term relationships with Tim of Porthilly Shellfish and Miles of Fowey Shellfish located in the North village of Rock and the south coast town of Fowey. Our mussels are grown in the deep, clear, clean waters off the Cornish coast, renowned for its water clarity.
