This lemon shaped fish takes it's name from the fruit (but does not taste of lemons!) and has a delicate, sweet white flesh and a light brown silky smooth skin. Due to it's subtle flavour it's best cooked simply - pan fried or grilled with some garlic butter is a personal favourite! We normally buy portion sized fish at around 400g each, and these do tend to be enough to make a whole meal!

The finest lemon sole are fished from sandy sea beds; there is no finer lemon sole laned anywhere than Looe or Plymouth.
- Storage & Preparation
Storage & PreparationFresh fish is best eaten straight away, or within 3 days. Store in your refrigerator and pack with ice if possible. To freeze; place the fish straight in the freezer upon delivery and aim to consume within 3 months. TIP: Write the date on the packaging before freezing. Do not re-freeze your fish after defrosting.
