Cornish Smoked Kippers (Pack of 1 - 300g)
Our award-winning home smoked kippers are made from winter catches of Cornish herring, naturally cured with no artificial additives or preservatives - just salt and oak chippings.
Rick Stein selected our kippers for his restaurants, describing them as having the best flavour by far – we think that’s a very worthy endorsement!
Kippers make a lovely weekend breakfast served with poached eggs and some wilted spinach and some vine roasted cherry tomatoes.
Kippers are good for you too, containing an abundance of omega 3 and omega 6 for bone and heart health, plus they’re packed with protein to really fill you up.

Aroma:
They smell lovely – smoky, fresh and appetising. They smell quite heavy on smoke prior to grilling but not so once grilled.
Appearance:
A gorgeous colour. They’re a great size with lovely plump fillets. Very neatly prepared. Very generous looking fish!
Texture/Mouthfeel/Finish/Length
Outstanding! Not too heavy on the smoke – they’re meat and unbelievably flavoursome. Delicious.
Taste
Fabulous product. Could eat them for breakfast, lunch and tea!
