Our award-winning home smoked kippers are made from winter catches of Cornish herring, naturally cured with no artificial additives or preservatives - just salt and oak chippings. Rick Stein selected our kippers for his restaurants, describing them as having the best flavour by far – we think that’s a very worthy endorsement! Kippers make a lovely weekend breakfast served with poached eggs and some wilted spinach and some vine roasted cherry tomatoes. Kippers are good for you too, containing an abundance of omega 3 and omega 6 for bone and heart health, plus they’re packed with protein to really fill you up.
Our kippers are best eaten straight away, or within 7 days. Store in your refrigerator.
