The largest of the flat fish, halibut has a beautifully mild sweet tasting flesh with a firm but tender texture. We fillet the fish and cut it into approximately 140-160gm boneless portions, to arrive individually vacuum packed and frozen. This is the ideal way to buy the exact number of portions of fish you require. Even though halibut is not classed as an 'oily fish' it is a great source of essential Omega3 oils; important for brain-power and concentration. Portions will be cut from all parts of the fillet and may come fresh if cut that day.

Storage & PreparationFresh fish is best eaten straight away, or within 3 days. Store in your refridgerator and pack with ice if possible. To freeze; place the fish straight in the freezer upon delivery and aim to consume within 3 months. TIP: Write the date on the packaging before freezing. Do not re-freeze your fish after defrosting. These portions are supplied frozen but on occasions may arrive fresh.
