The Good Web Guide

We are thrilled to learn that we made it through to the first round of the GWG "Website of the Year Awards 2010". With over 1809 entries The Good Web Guide had to judge sites on the following criteria:
•Ease of Use
•Social Media Strategy (this isn’t a pre-requisite for entry). This year's winner will be chosen by a panel of qualified judges, including: Sophie Cornish.  - Sophie is co-founder of, a multi-award winning online shopping site, which supports over 1,500 small businesses. Launched in 2006, it now turns over excesses of £6.5 million a year Sarah Beeny.  - Sarah is founder of private property website, and dating site A presenter for Channel 4's Property Ladder, she has written several bestselling books on property and dating and is a regular writer for the national press Mark Glynne-Jones. -  Mark founded the Jump To consultancy in 1994, after a career working with a number of the UK's leading marketing and design consultancies, and clients such as Toyota, Panasonic and Heineken International, along with respected food brands Tyrrells and New Covent Garden Foods. Jamie Murray-Wells.  - Jamie founded, the largest online prescription glasses store, while still at university. His new venture aims to halve the cost of hearing aids via his groundbreaking online test and buy website Sadly we have not made it through to the final shortlist but we think we did pretty well to get in the final 100 websites!
