Halloween Smoked Salmon Sushi

Cook and drain the rice. Mix with the salt, sugar and vinegar according to your taste when it is cold. Click here to see how to cook sushi rice.

Spread a couple of square sheets of cling film on a flat surface.

To make the evil pumpkin rice ball, put a slice of smoked salmon the middle of the cling film. Topped it with a spoonful of sushi rice. Wrap up the cling film and shape into a ball. Remove the cling film. Cut the seaweed into shapes of eyes and mouth for decoration.

To make the black cobweb rice ball, repeat the previous step by substituting the smoked salmon with a sheet of seaweed. For decoration, put a spoonful of mayonnaise in a sandwich bag, cut a small hole at the corner. Squeeze while drawing the cobwebs on top of the rice balls.


  • Seafood ingredients:
    250g long sliced smoked salmon
    1 pack of roasted seaweed sheets
  • Other ingredients:
  • Sushi rice / plain rice
  • Water
  • Salt, sugar and vinegar
  • Mayonnaise
  • Small sandwich bag
  • Cling film (cut into squares)
