This is Spain's favourite fish. We aim to buy 2 to 3 kilo sized fish. This silver skinned fish is soft fleshed and delicate in flavour. Hake steaks are cut across the bone.
This fish will bake, grill, pan fry, deep fry, roast or BBQ. Try baking in a hot oven; serve with Spain's infamous salsa verde.
Our fish is landed daily and comes in all different sizes - just as nature intended! Our prices are given in 'weight per kilo' and where possible we are able to offer a price per portion. We will do our best to get your order as close to the kilo weight as possible and always within a 20% variant to the size you choose.

Delicate and delightful
Kirstie, Innerleithen - The fillets I've had from Wings have been large and wonderfully fresh. I can understand why the Portugese are so keen on this fish as it has a lovely, delicate flavour and a soft but not mushy texture. It suits subtle saucing such as parsley sauce of lemon butter.
