How much will I pay to have my fresh fish delivered?

For orders up to £100 we make a charge of £7.95 per order; this covers up to a total weight of 20 kilos so why not ask friends and family if they'd like to share an order.
For orders over £100 carriage is free.

How and when will my fresh fish be delivered to me?

We use an overnight courier company that delivers all our seafood around the country; they're called APC and they have handled our deliveries for over three years now. They are very reliable and in almost all cases they will deliver your fish before midday, in a few cases the time might stretch to lunchtime but that is a rarity.  Deliveries to most postal codes in Scotland will be made by 4pm; for the more remote postal codes please call for delivery options.  We are unable to deliver to Eire or Northern Ireland.

Will my fish be bagged and ready to cook or freeze?

All your fish will be vacuum packed and labelled with a use by date and a suggested frozen shelf life (around 6 months).

Can I have a delivery to my home on a Saturday?

Yes we can deliver to you on a Saturday morning. The courier company charge us £20 for this service; this charge is applicable for all orders delivered on Saturdays.

Can I choose when I have my fish delivered?

Yes; at the checkout you are able to specify which delivery day you would prefer (tuesday to friday). You can forward order fish for delivery up to three weeks in advance.  We do not take payment from your credit card until the day of despatch.

How will you keep my fish cool?

Once your fish has been bagged to keep it in prime condition, we lay it into a lined insulated polystyrene box. The fish is surrounded with chilled gel packs to keep it cool and in perfect condition (see the photographs to the left of this page).

Cool Tip...

Keep the empty box in the boot of your car and use it to keep your food shopping cool on the journeys home from the shops. When it has seen better days why not use it as a seed box and grow some veggies in it! Keep the gel packs in your freezer and re-use them again and again.

Can my fish order be delivered to me at work or just at my home?

Yes that's no problem, just give us the full postal address and the post code and we'll do the rest.

What happens if I am not at home when my order arrives?

Lots of our customers ask for their delivery to be left at a neighbours or in a garden shed; the courier company will leave your delivery wherever you specify but, as you were not available to sign for your fish order, we cannot accept liability if it is not there when you return.
