I have been remiss in not contacting you sooner to thank you for the fantastic scallops which we received for Christmas. Everyone enjoyed them so much we could have forgone the rest of the meal! The service we received, together with the quality and freshness of the scallops was second to none. So much so that I have just ordered some more, together with dressed crab and mackerel. THANK YOU...This order was delivered this morning at 9:30am.

The packaging was in perfect condition. The ice packs were still rock hard and not only still frozen, but with almost no condensation on them. The fish was in absolutely PERFECT condition...very cold, but not quite frozen.
I congratulate you on your fantastic service...it doesn't get any better than this....and last time I served your Sea Bass to my guests, they said it was the best they'd ever eaten.  I wish you a very prosperous New Year. Regards GRAHAM

My order arrived safely and everything was top-notch. I've always got beautiful turbot from you, as this one was, but hadn't before had the large halibut fillet and am delighted with its quality: it was positively sticky with freshness. The three turbot carcasses were very welcome and have been transformed into over 6 litres if fine stock. With many thanks and season's greetings.

My order arrived this morning, & was perfect. My 2 year old Grandson was with me at the time & loved seeing the whole Megrim Sole (he wanted to poke the eyes & kiss them too). I have had a lovely time picking the crab, so that's our evening meal sorted. If only we were actually in Cornwall eating it.......dull & cold Nottingham isn't quite the same somehow.

The packaging box will serve as a planter for some salad crops, so nothing will be wasted. Many thanks Karen.

We recently placed our first order over the Internet late on a Sunday and we received it very well packed box of chilled fish on Tuesday morning.

It comprised of oak smoked kippers, gurnard, dabs, squid, coley and mackerel and I have now enjoyed several meals with each fish. Lesley and I have used other internet providers for fish but we can confidently say that our purchase from Wing of St Mawes was extremely efficient and very fresh. We will certainly use Wing of St Mawes again.

I just wanted to say we received your delivery last week and have now had the opportunity not only to sample your lovely fresh fish but also to share with friends as we had a dinner party this weekend and served a grilled cod (with soy butter sauce - yum). They were so impressed too they asked for your contact details, which I have forwarded.

My husband is a fish-eating vegetarian, and we live about as far from the sea as is possible in the UK, so it is not easy to find good fish locally. We will definitely be stocking up our freezer again when the time comes. People are always very quick to complain these days but don't always take time to praise - however your service and quality seems so far exceptional, so thank you.

On Friday 28/1/11 we received our first order which was placed by my husband on 22/1.

We were like children in a sweet shop when opening the large box of goodies! And we were impressed with the packaging & presentation, plus the very fresh look of the contents.

We had the kippers for breakfast yesterday and the Fruits de Mer last evening and were delighted that they tasted as good as they looked.

The remainder of the order is in the freezer and we look forward to enjoying it in due course - and to deciding which fish to try when we place our next order.

Hi,
I ordered one of your breakfast hampers for my grandparents' Christmas present as they like to have fish for breakfast sometimes.  I would like to let you know that they could not believe their eyes when they received their gift and said they had never seen or tasted such gorgeous fish!! My grandparents have travelled all over the world and they have said that your fish is the most gorgeous fish they have ever had!!

We also received a complimentary telephone call this afternoon to ask if the fish was enjoyed which was lovely and unexpected.

May I take this opportunity to thank you for such first class service and quality products.  People are so quick to complain these days but we will definitely come back to you in the future and I will be singing your praises to everyone I speak to, as do my grandparents.

My apologies. I forgot to say how much I enjoyed the last order from you. The scallops were superb, the mussels delicious and the Dover sole I've eaten so far was equally delicious. I enjoyed the crab but will buy it prepared next time! Thanks again for superb quality sea food.

Hi Guys,

You sent myself and my fiance Tom 5 wonderful Cornish crabs last Friday. We ordered them Wednesday, late afternoon, and asked for them to be delivered on Friday morning.

We both work and I was worried that I would have to wait in all day for them to be delivered but lo and behold at 9.10am the man arrived at our doorstep and said: "I've got crabs!" (He didn't really but it makes me laugh to say it).

I had asked for 2kg crabs but you guys had warned me that, due to the weather, this could be difficult - well you came up trumps. They were huge, gorgeous crabs.

Tom is Fijian and makes the world's best crab curry. So by 9pm on Friday - 8 hungry people were tucking into the best crab curry we have ever had.

I cannot thank you guys enough for the professional, courteous, prompt service and gorgeous crabs. You are the best and we will always come to you for all our fishy needs.

I GOT CRABS - AND THEY'RE CORNISH FISHMONGER ONES TOO!

I have to say I thought I had died and gone to Heaven after eating the shell fish that arrived. The mussels were delicious, as were the clams and the crab and lobster as good as any I ever ate in Paris. What amazes me (though, no doubt, you will know it already) is the size and flavour of your shell fish compared with that of Brittany in recent years. Their mussels are like peas in size and certainly very expensive and the oysters very meagre! I'm off on holiday (to Devon) next week but will order again very soon. My thanks and congratulations to all of you.

Had one of your lobsters today. It was fabulous and so much more meat on it compared with one we had last from sainsburys which was 3rd rate. An excellent service also, so well packaged and fresh.

A selection box is a good choice for a first order, and quite exciting not knowing exactly what you might receive. Your website is very well designed and offers a mouth watering array of tasty looking fish!

All in all, nothing at all to complain about which is surprisingly refreshing these days!

My order arrived at 12 noon on Friday and the wonderful smell of the sea when I opened the box made me think I was at the seaside. The fish was all beautifully packed ready for the freezer. We have already tried one haddock fillet - delicious. I shall certainly be ordering again in the future.

The fish is top quality and I was so very impressed with the way in which you package it. The smaller items were able to be placed straight in the freezer without any work from me!! Just wanted to write and thank you very much for my fish. They were waiting for me when I arrived home and I was delighted with the quality and also my free smoked salmon a lovely touch thank you! I used the fish for a dinner party and everybody commented on how fresh and delicious it was and left absolutely no smell while preparing it and cooking it, just showing how beautifully fresh it was.
