The tradition of eating fish at Easter on Good Friday stems from the ancient religious custom associated with abstaining from eating meat on a Friday; it was considered important to control the urges and indulgences of the stomach.  Thankfully today, we eat fish for totally different reasons: great flavour, purity and health benefits are but a few of the twenty-first century reasons for enjoying fresh Cornish fish. In between the bank holidays there will be deliveries on the 27th and 28th, after the royal wedding deliveries start as normal on the 4th May
